The Range Search Tool in Novorender allows you to find objects by filtering their properties within a numerical or date range.
This is especially useful for identifying elements with values such as MMI status, dimensions, or dates that fall within a specific interval.
1. Accessing the Range Search
Open the Range Search tool from the interface.
Select Range Search to begin.
2. Setting Up a Range Search
2.1 Choose a Property
Start by entering the property name you want to search for.
Example: MMI status.
2.2 Define the Range
Input the minimum and maximum values for your search.
Example: Search for objects with MMI values between 200 and 300.
2.3 Search by Date
Range search can also be applied to date values.
Example: Find objects created or updated between two dates.
3. Running the Search
After setting the property and range, click Search.
All objects that match the criteria will be displayed in the results.
4. Selecting Results
You can select all matching objects at once.
Selected objects will then be highlighted in the model.
Example: All objects with MMI between 200 and 300 are instantly selected and shown in the view.
