The Range Search Tool in Novorender allows you to find objects by filtering their properties within a numerical or date range.
This is especially useful for identifying elements with values such as MMI status, dimensions, or dates that fall within a specific interval.

1. Accessing the Range Search

  1. Open the Range Search tool from the interface.

  2. Select Range Search to begin.

2. Setting Up a Range Search

2.1 Choose a Property

  • Start by entering the property name you want to search for.

  • Example: MMI status.

2.2 Define the Range

  • Input the minimum and maximum values for your search.

  • Example: Search for objects with MMI values between 200 and 300.

2.3 Search by Date

  • Range search can also be applied to date values.

  • Example: Find objects created or updated between two dates.

3. Running the Search

  • After setting the property and range, click Search.

  • All objects that match the criteria will be displayed in the results.

4. Selecting Results

  • You can select all matching objects at once.

  • Selected objects will then be highlighted in the model.

  • Example: All objects with MMI between 200 and 300 are instantly selected and shown in the view.
