See how you can

  • 0:00 - In the 2D widget, you have options to toggle terrain as the background. Disabling it shows the terrain as is, while hiding models below it.

  • 0:17 - Alternatively, you can view 3D models through the terrain. A top-down view creates a 2D orthographic view of the project.

  • 0:27 - You can select a cross-section, but first, you can enable a grid for measurements.

  • 0:35 - The grid may appear tiny in large projects. You can customize the background color for the 2D view if needed.

  • 0:46 - You can select a cross-section with an arrow indicating the viewing direction.

  • 0:55 - A cross-section view can be glued to, or you can disable 2D mode if preferred.

  • 1:14 - Clicking the 2D button allows reactivation of 2D mode. You can select the plane to attach the 2D view to.

  • 1:27 - Clicking a specific point enables a 2D view of the selected area.
