Troubleshooting Guide for Performance

Follow these steps to optimize your device for Novorender.

  1. Is your web browser up to date?


  2. Try another browser - use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to compare performance


  3. Follow this manual to adjust the settings for the browser you use daily:


  4. Follow this manual to adjust the settings inside Explorer - turn on INCREMENTAL mode:


  5. Turn on AUTO-FREEZE feature:
    a) Go to Settings → User widget

    b) Enable AUTO-FREEZE


  6. If your GPU is on a blocklist (Google Chrome):
    Your GPU might be on a blocklist. Follow these steps in Google Chrome:

    a) Open the following page in Chrome:
    chrome://flags/#ignore-gpu-blocklist

    b) The option “Override software rendering list” will be highlighted.

    c) Change the value on the right to Enabled.

    d) Restart the browser
