What is new

New navigation controllers:

Click Default to navigate the model using the default camera view.

  • Left-click + drag: Click the left mouse button and drag the cursor up or down across the screen to rotate the camera.

  • Scroll: Press the scroll button on your mouse and scroll up or down to move the camera forward or backward.

  • Middle-click + drag: Press the middle click button on your mouse to move the camera perpendicularly.

  • Right-click on an object: Like Orbit “Left-click on an object:”

  • Right-click on an empty space: right-click + drag: Like Orbit “Left-click on an empty space

Click Fly to navigate the model from the camera view at varying velocities.

Note: The velocity of the camera movement will increase or decrease depending on how far you move the cursor on your mouse.

  • Left-click + drag up or down: Click the left mouse button and drag the cursor up or down to move the camera into or away from the model.

  • Left-click + drag left or right: Click the left mouse button and drag the cursor left or right to rotate the camera clockwise or counterclockwise.

  • Scroll: Press the scroll button on your mouse and scroll to rotate the camera up or down.

  • Middle-click + drag: Elevator. When you push down, it navigates down. Push up goes up, right goes right and left goes left.

  • right-click + drag: Like Orbit left click.

Click Orbit to rotate the camera from a fixed point.

  • Left-click on an object: Click on an object with the left mouse button and drag the cursor left or right to rotate the camera around the click point.

  • Left-click on an empty space: we rotate either around the last pivot point or around the viewer if there’s no last pivot point or it’s too far.

  • Middle-click + drag: Press the middle click button on your mouse to move the camera perpendicularly around an object.

  • right-click + drag: Click the right mouse button and drag the cursor up or down across the screen to rotate the camera.

Scroll: Press the scroll button on your mouse and scroll up or down to move the camera forward or backward.

  • Step forward button moves: The Step forward button moves to the 3-dot-menu.

  • Controller selection button takes its place: The Controller selection button takes the place of the moved Step forward button.

  • Cursor changes in no pointer lock mode: The cursor changes when moving the camera with the mouse in no pointer lock mode.

    • Activate in "Adv. settings -> Camera -> 3D -> Reset pointer when released"

  • Orbit center in no pointer lock mode: The Orbit center is shown as a point in no pointer lock mode.

    • Activate in "Adv. settings -> Camera -> 3D -> Reset pointer when released"

What is improved

  • Horizontal alignment: Sync “Height profile” with the “Horizontal alignment” selection

  • BIM Collab: Restore state after logging

  • Ditio: default “From date” is now 2020-01-01 (was 14 days back before)

  • Bookmark: fix screenshot when “Add to selection basket” is enabled

  • Model tree: Improve performance for “Save to groups” in Model Tree and for non-exact path-only searches

  • Properties: style parent header and properties differently, add a button to select parent

  • Clipping planes: fix secondary planes changing orientation in the old UX

  • Support for Revit (Beta). The format is not officially supported, however it should be mostly working. The users may test the format, but may experience some discrepancies. Official support is expected in Q3

  • Other: Various stability and performance improvements
