🛠️ 1. Set up your browser to run on dedicated GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) as default
Follow the guide to activate.
Note: Applicable if your laptop has multiple GPUs
🔄 2. Hard reload your browser
Sometimes your browser cache may cause slow loading. Performing a hard reload clears temporary data and forces a fresh load.
How to perform a hard reload in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge:
Using keyboard shortcuts:
Windows: Hold down Ctrl and press F5
Mac: Hold down Cmd + Shift, then press R
Using the Developer Tools (more efficient):
Open the Chrome Developer Tools (F12)
Right-click the Reload button next to the address bar
Select "Empty Cache and Hard Reload"
📥 3. Enable ‘Incremental’ Download
This setting reduces loading times by downloading and storing model data on your device as you navigate the scene.
❄️ 4. Freeze object groups not frequently used
Reducing what's actively rendered in the scene improves performance significantly.
Freeze groups for objects that are not essential during initial loading of the scene
Go to Collaboration → Groups → three-dot menu → Freeze
Save the changes in Groups
Note: This feature is available only for project admins or group of people with permissions to edit Groups
