About
With forms integrated into the model, you can streamline the documentation and systematic completion process. By using both Object Forms and Geo Forms directly into your model, you not only enhance operational efficiency but also create a more transparent, accountable, and compliant project environment. All checklists can be created according to the project needs, and you can pick and chose between several different input types:

Object Forms
Object Forms allow you to create checklists tied to specific objects in your model, ensuring systematic completion of tasks. These customizable checklists must be completed during task execution and signed off once verified. This structured control process enables thorough quality assurance, and you can export the checklists as PDF files for official documentation, simplifying project tracking and compliance.
User story:
A VDC manager creates a template & search query that matches e.g all walls on the 13th floor
Forms creates an instance for all walls on the 13th floor and keeps track of this with model changes e.g
A new wall is added, Forms adds that wall to the checklist
A wall is removed, Forms does not lose the data as it´s not stored in the property DB rather it´s stored in Forms association DB.
Users can fill out Forms (checklists) and track progress
New: Red
Ongoing: Yellow
FInished: Green
Users can sign the form and add approval flows
When the form is finished, it can be exported as PDF for documentation purposes

Figure 3: Signature of a Form item
Key benefits
You create the template once, and it automatically spawns new instances as needed.
So, for the VDC manager it´s setup and forget.
For the field user they can simply click an object and e.g. start filling a checklist or see other associated data like e.g a manual
Progress tracking is a as simple as clicking a template and you get a 3D takeoff of progress
Can also be visualized in e.g PBI
Geo Forms
Geo Forms go beyond object-based checklists by linking forms to precise locations within your model. They are ideal for registering issues, environmental concerns, and safety, health, and working environment (SHA) factors. With Geo Forms, you can define forms that must be filled out upon registration of any issue and then exported as PDF files for future documentation.

User story:
VDC manager creates a template & chooses a pin to represent the Geo Form
Users can then choose this template and select where in the model they wish to represent this pin
User can fill out Forms (Checklist) or simply use it to display e.g
Where equipment is
That something nn
Adverse Event reports (HSE)
+++
Fiure 5: A geo form for a glass rail missing
Key benefits
You create the template once and its super flexible
For the field user they can simply choose a template and add a "pin" e.g images from building site
Works in both 2D and 3D

Temporary measures
This lets you place physical markers in the model to indicate the exact location of the geo form. This functionality is particularly useful for marking sensitive areas or pinpointing issues that need corrective action, helping you manage projects with greater accuracy and attention to detail.
Both Object Forms and Geo Forms ensure comprehensive documentation, enhancing overall project control and safety management while offering a seamless way to export crucial data into PDF format for record-keeping.
