Adding Members to projects from Entra-ID Groups

To add members from your Entra ID groups to your project or system, follow these steps:

  1. Click Add
    Begin by clicking the Add button to start the process of adding members.

  2. Select a User
    Once you click Add, you will see a list of users within your Entra ID groups. You can browse through the list to find the users you want to add.

  3. Search for Specific Users
    If you're looking for a specific user, you can start typing their name or username. The system will automatically filter and display matching users, making it easier to find the right person.

  4. Assign a Role and Expiry Date
    After selecting a user, you can assign them a role within the system. You can also set an expiry date for their membership, specifying when their access should end.

  5. Duplicate Member Warning
    If you try to add the same member to the same project or security group multiple times, you will receive a warning notifying you of the duplicate entry. This helps prevent adding the same person more than once.

By following these steps, you can efficiently add members from your Entra ID groups, assign them appropriate roles, and ensure your project or security group is properly managed.
